The City of South San Francisco is pleased to announce the launch of its new, user-friendly website designed to provide an enhanced experience for residents, business owners, and visitors alike. This initiative aims to streamline access to essential city services, information, and resources, fostering improved communication and engagement within our community.

The newly redesigned website features a modern layout and intuitive navigation, making it easier than ever for users to find information on local government services, upcoming events, public notices, and more. Key highlights of the website include:

  • Improved Navigation: A simplified menu structure ensures users can quickly locate the information they need.
  • Enhanced Accessibility: The website is designed to be accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, with features such as text resizing and screen reader compatibility.
  • Mobile-Friendly Design: Residents can access city services and information on the go, with responsive design that adapts to various devices.

Tony Barrera, Director of Information Technology, emphasized the importance of the new website in enhancing transparency and accessibility, stating, "Our goal is to make interacting with the city government as seamless as possible for all members of our community. This website represents a significant step forward in achieving that goal."

The City also expects to roll out texting communications and a chat bot on the website in the near future.
