Hello South San Francisco Community,
As we complete our first full week of January and held our first Council meeting of the year, we are full steam ahead for 2025!
However, our hearts are heavy as we think of those affected by the devastating fires in the Southern California - LA Region. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and communities impacted by this tragedy. We also wish godspeed to our brave battalion SSF fire crews who have been deployed to assist and support in combating the fire. Their courage and dedication are truly inspiring. We are deeply grateful to all of our brave firefighters. Please join me in recognizing our local heroes for their courage and dedication in supporting our neighbors in Southern California.
As we move forward, I’m excited about the opportunities ahead to continue to work together in building a vibrant, thriving South City community.
Be sure to read last week’s newsletter to learn more about one of our events that will help us do just that, Cafecito with Mayor Eddie.
Thank you for your ongoing engagement and support. Let’s make this year one of progress and collaboration!
