CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY MONTH with Joy Fest
1PM - Lyrical Joy - Mayor Eddie Flores welcomes the community with a Black History Month message. Hosted by J. R. Rice, MC, spoken word artist, teacher, and author of Broken Pencils. Musical selections by BB Brown, singer, song writer and composer, with spoken word by Briana Grogan.
2 PM - Play Joy - All ages are invited to a screening of the short film, Hair Love (2019), followed by double-dutch, hopscotch, clothespin people craft, and a food tasting from SSF's own Flavas Jamaican Grill.
