The City of South San Francisco has partnered with LAZ Parking to provide improved citywide parking enforcement services for all our residents, businesses, and visitors. LAZ Parking has experience in providing parking enforcement service solutions for numerous other cities in California.

Reporting Parking Violations

If you are reporting an emergency, please call 911.

For any inquiries or to report parking-related issues, residents and visitors can contact LAZ Parking at 650-660-0512 or email SSFEnforcement@LAZparking.com during the office hours of:

For instances requiring immediate attention AFTER LAZ HOURS, parking violations may be reported directly to the Police Department at: 650-877-8900.

Some examples of instances requiring immediate attention include but are not limited to:

  • Blocked driveways preventing other vehicles from entering / exiting
  • A vehicle unlawfully occupying a handicap stall
  • A vehicle parked in a red zone that is causing a hazard
  • A vehicle blocking a fire hydrant, hindering an emergency response
  • A vehicle double parked that is unoccupied and blocking a public roadway

AB 413 Daylighting Law

There have been new revisions to California Vehicle Code 22500(n)(1)(A): Assembly Bill413 will prohibit parking 20 feet in advance of crosswalks. Enforcement and citations begin Jan. 1, 2025. Read more here about the revised California Vehicle Code 22500(n)(1)(A).
