Security Camera Registration

 (CCAP) Community Camera Assistance Program:

We are seeking the assistance of South San Francisco business owners and residents who have video surveillance systems.

The South San Francisco Police Department is committed to the safety and protection of our community.  As such, we are working with businesses and residents from the South San Francisco community to compile a list of privately owned video surveillance cameras to enhance crime prevention and public safety.  In many instances, available video surveillance adds critical pieces of information that aid in the investigation and successful prosecution of a case.

Many South San Francisco business owners and residents currently operate video surveillance systems at their businesses and/or homes.  If you have video surveillance cameras, the South San Francisco Police Department is encouraging you to register the location of your cameras with us.

This is a voluntary registry as the South San Francisco Police Department will not proactively take control of, access, or use your cameras.  If your location has surveillance video recordings helpful to the South San Francisco Police Department in an investigation, our officers or detectives will contact you for assistance.

Help us keep South San Francisco a great place to live, work, and play.  Join the Community Camera Assistance Program today!
