Private Rentals

Group picnic areas are available for private rental on the weekends, March through October. (During non-reservation months, open areas may be used at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis.)

• Fees vary by location, guest capacity, and amenities, and are subject to change.
• All areas include barbecue facilities.
• Group picnics are allowed, with restrictions, between 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Extended use may be requested, and requires additional overtime fees.
• Multiple areas may be reserved together for a discount.
• Permitted uses are monitored for compliance with capacity and policy regulations.
• No smoking, portable BBQs, inflatable jumpers, or amplified sound is permitted in city parks.

Reserving a Picnic Site

You can reserve a picnic site online! All picnic sites can be booked online in advance of your desired date. 

Picnic Sites cannot be reserved online for weekdays.

Picnic Shelters require are $225.00 fundable damage deposit upon check-out. The damage deposit will be refunded 48-72 hours after your picnic, as long as there is no damage to the shelter area and everyone leaves at the permitted check-out time.

All online reservations close every Thursday for the upcoming weekend. To see if a particular site is available is still available, and you are within the three days of your desired rental, please call the Recreation Office at (650) 829-3800.

Picnic areas, including the sheltered picnic areas at Westborough Park and Orange Memorial Park, can accommodate groups from 20-150 guests.
