Preparing Your Image - Online Submission for art shows

Accepted Format: JPEG/JPG /PNG
Size: At least 500 kb and should not exceed 5.0 MB
Resolution: No less than 72 dpi and no smaller than 1000 pixels in any direction.

Digital images will represent the artwork and therefore should be suitably photographed. A clean and skillfully-styled image is highly recommended.

Do not include watermarks or frames. Images may be cropped or digitally corrected for enhanced presentation if selected for the Virtual Extended Exhibit following the show.

If possible, digitally label the image with the initial of your first name followed by your last name. (example: jdoe.jpg)

Digital image(s) must be submitted online with completed Entry Form.

Preparing Art for Live Gallery Exhibition

2-Dimensional Entries must be display-ready for wall hanging.
This includes appropriate framing with D-rings (flat hangers) and strong and secure BRAIDED WIRE.
Frames and matting must be in new or like new condition.
Bed-size quilts should have a 4” hanging sleeve sewn to the back and top of the entry.
Clip frames, screw eyes, and sawtooth hangers are not acceptable!
Art should not exceed 50 pounds.

3-Dimensional Entries must stand securely and independently.
Artist should include a display stand, easel or pedestal if needed.

All Art

Must include a label securely adhered to the back of the entry with the following information centered and legibly printed: Title of art (or “untitled”), Artist Name, Type of Media, Sale Price (or “NFS”)

Should include Height, Width and Depth-if appropriate in entry form description area.
