What we do: Sew and embroider materials
What we can teach you: Textile design and manufacturing, threading techniques and patterns, clothing repair and maintenance
We're recommended for ages: All Ages - Makers under 13 must have adult supervision
If interested in using our sewing machines, please email ssfpladm@plsinfo.org. The library can provide cutting boards, scissors, and an ironing board with an iron. Various thread colors, needles, pins, and cloth materials are available while supplies last.
If you would like personal staff instruction on how to use the sewing machines, please make your reservations at least 48 hours in advance.
Serger Sewing Machine
There is one Serger machine available.
Embroidery Machine
There is one embroidery machine available for special stitches.
Single Stitch Sewing Machines
There are three starter sewing machines available.
