Cameo Silhouette

What I am: Silhouette Cameo 2 and 3

Where I am: Main Library (Cameo 2) and Grand Library (Cameo 3)

What I do: I use a computer program to cut designs into different types of material

What I can teach you: 2D design, project planning, paper crafting

I'm recommended for ages: 8 and up - Makers 10 or younger require adult supervision

Cameo 3

The Cameo 2 is available for cutting silhouettes and paper crafts. Ask for our Cameo laptop to view purchased designs that you can use at the library for free! Vinyl, card stock, glitter paper and assorted stationary materials are available while supplies last.

The Cameo 3 is essentially an updated version of the Cameo 2. The Cameo 3 performs the same functions as the 2 with the exception of the dual carriage, the self-adjusting blade and sketch pen.

Using the PixScan Mat

Pixscan matThe PixScan Mat allows for makers to precisely cut around printed designs. For example, let’s say that you have an intricate design that you wouldn’t be able to cut around with a regular pair of scissors. The PixScan Mat would allow you to place your print within the borders, take a picture of the print (placed on the mat), and then upload the picture onto the Silhouette Studio software in order to give the Cameo precise instructions on what to cut.
