Program Year 2022-2024 CDBG-Funded Programs

Each year the City of South San Francisco provides grants for public services using funds from its Community Block Grant Program entitlement. Grants are awarded through the CDBG Program to non-profit organizations for provision of public services to low- and moderate-income residents of the City of South San Francisco. Organizations must address one of the following priority needs in order to be considered for funding:

  • Basic human needs - including, but not limited to, access to food, shelter, health programs, workforce development, and legal services
  • Senior services
  • Youth Services
  • Affordable housing - this includes preserving current and providing new housing
