On July 24, 2024, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 121-2024(PDF, 1MB) , calling for a Municipal Election on a Measure to modernize the City of South San Francisco's Business License Tax.
Description
Ordinance(PDF, 220KB) amending Chapters 6.04, 6.08, 6.12, and 6.16 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code modernizing business licensing procedures, related definitions, and tax rates.

Important: In accordance with Election Code 9170, both the proponents and opponents of a measure shall provide a list of supporters and opponents to be listed on the ballot when submitting the arguments for a measure.
Instructions for Filing Arguments and Rebuttals
The City Attorney’s impartial analysis and any primary arguments and rebuttal arguments filed will be available for public examination in the City Clerk’s Office for not less than ten calendar days from the deadline.
