Rudy Bertolozzi has served on the Personnel Board for the City of South San Francisco for over five years and is a resident of the City. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Southern California.

Rudy married his wife Sue in 1958. They have three children, Teri, Steve, and Susie, and six grandchildren. Rudy sold his pharmacy in 1996 but continues to practice pharmacy a few times a month. Rudy says he always wanted to serve the community and found the Personnel Board to be the perfect fit.

In addition to his duties as a board member, Rudy is also the current president of the Peninsula Social Club Scholarship Foundation and Bocce Chairman for the Italian American Citizens Club (IACC) of South San Francisco. His prior public service commitments include:

• Volunteer faculty for the University of California Pharmacy School
• President of the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club (SFIAC)
• Board member of the Peninsula Italian American Social Club of San Mateo
