The Cultural Arts Commission presents this popular gallery exhibit which will include photography by local artists. Subjects will include diverse themes ranging from nature and landscapes to animals, people, and special for 2008, South San Francisco scenes. In celebration of the city’s centennial, there will also be an exhibit of historical photographs!

Residents of all ages are enjoying a new, one mile stretch of trail that was opened on April 19, running between Orange Avenue and Tanforan. Walkers, joggers, strollers, and bicyclists can enter the trail on Orange Avenue at Memorial Drive; Spruce Avenue just east of Huntington; and at Tanforan, just across the street from the BART parking structure. Each entry node includes an attractive landscape area and kiosk.

The City is offering assistance for homeowners and residents to improve their systems and in the process help reduce inflow and infiltration (I & I) into the sewer lines, which can improve the quality of the waters of the San Francisco Bay.
