1. Where and when are the City Council regular meetings?

The South San Francisco City Council meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public and held at:
Municipal Services Building

South San Francisco, CA 94080

2. What licenses do I need to start a business?

Businesses that want to be located in the South San Francisco and those that provide services in South San Francisco must have a City business license.

For business license information, call the Business License Office at (650) 877-8505. You may want to check with the Planning Division for Zoning and Land Use regulations on the site in question at (650) 877-8535.

3. I am building a new house, which departments do I talk to?

You will need to speak to a Planner to find out what the requirements for your construction project will be. After doing so, you will need to speak to the Building Division to find out what the permit requirements will be.
