[ACTIVE] Climate Action Plan and Pedestrian Master Plan Community Workshop #2 - May 6th

SSF CAP Workshop

The public will have an opportunity to provide input on how to improve pedestrian access
and safety and ways to conserve energy resources.

The Climate Action Plan (CAP) will identify ways the City can reduce greenhouse gas
emissions and implement energy saving measures with the goal of a thriving, well-balanced
and sustainable community. The CAP is being prepared to assist the City with reaching its
overall target reduction goal by 2020 consistent with State Assembly Bill (AB) 32.

The Pedestrian Master Plan (PMP) will promote a pedestrian-friendly environment; where
public spaces, including streets and off-street paths, will offer a level of convenience, safety
and attractiveness to pedestrians that will encourage and reward the choice to walk.

The project is funded by a Strategic Growth Council 2011 Sustainable Communities
Planning Grant (grant number: 3010-540). For more information on the plans, please visit
www.ssf.net/cap.pmp or contact the City’s Sustainable Division at (650) 829-6634 or email
sustainable.ssf@ssf.net.
