The public will have an opportunity to provide input on how to improve pedestrian accessand safety and ways to conserve energy resources.
The Climate Action Plan (CAP) will identify ways the City can reduce greenhouse gasemissions and implement energy saving measures with the goal of a thriving, well-balancedand sustainable community. The CAP is being prepared to assist the City with reaching itsoverall target reduction goal by 2020 consistent with State Assembly Bill (AB) 32.
The Pedestrian Master Plan (PMP) will promote a pedestrian-friendly environment; wherepublic spaces, including streets and off-street paths, will offer a level of convenience, safetyand attractiveness to pedestrians that will encourage and reward the choice to walk.
