Celebrate Youth Creativity at the 2017 Youth Art Show

The South San Francisco Cultural Arts Commission in partnership with the Unified School District announces the 17th presentation of the Youth Art Show. Celebrate youth artistry at this wildly colorful event! The program showcases the visual art of South San Francisco Unified School District students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Visitors will be treated to hundreds of art exhibits, in a variety of media, including photography, sculpture, watercolors, ceramics, acrylics, and mixed-media.

The Friday opening features joyful presentations by youth performing artists. Aspiring artists of all ages can enjoy craft table activities on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Select art from this program will be on extended exhibit in the Municipal Services Building for approximately four weeks after the show.

The event will be held at the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, on Friday, March 31, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, April 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is open to the public.
