Woman of Excellence
Pat Jarvis won the "Woman of Excellence" Honoree for 2010 Award. The 5th Annual Daly City "Women of Excellence" Awards Ceremony and Reception, sponsored by the Daly City Parks and Recreation Department, in celebration of National Women's History Month was on March 18 at the Daly City Council Chambers at City Hall.

The Daly City National Women's History Month Observance Award recognizes individuals whose actions have inspired opportunities in Daly City for women's growth, leadership, and empowerment through their courage and vision. The honorees exemplify the shared vision of peace, building community, conservation, justice, freedom, and the belief that all people have inherent worth and dignity.
