Brentwood Park

Join us in celebrating the grand reopening of this lovely neighborhood park Saturday, March 25!  The park reopening and ribbon cutting celebration will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  A volunteer planting event sponsored by the Improving Public Places Committee will begin at 9:00 a.m.

The reopening celebration has been rescheduled from the original February date due to heavy rains.

About the Brentwood Park Construction Project

The highly anticipated renovation of Brentwood Park will include several dramatic upgrades to this beloved neighborhood park:
  • Transformation of the baseball field to a natural turf / skinned infield regulation pee wee practice and game field
  • Replacement of failing sections of retaining wall in back of park
  • Reconstruction of existing “loop” trail and asphalt pathways and driveway to conform with current accessibility requirements
  • Replacement of playground equipment and improvement of drainage issues in play area
  • Upgraded high efficiency irrigation system
  • Addition of one required ADA compliant off-street parking space
