The South San Francisco Public Library offers an array of services and programs for adults and seniors.
Join us for fun and informative programs at the library. Our lineup of adult programs changes each month and includes informative talks by local authors and organizations, hands-on LibLab MakerSpace workshops, and technology help. Check out our online calendar to learn about this month's upcoming programs.
Treat yourself to an evening out, meet new people, stimulate your mind, and have a good time by joining the South San Francisco Public Library book club. Our book club meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Main Library's Auditorium. Visit our book club webpage for information on each month's selected title and meeting date.
Celebrate Summer of Code with us during June, July, and August of 2016! We'll be hosting a variety of coding-related programs including regular meet-up sessions for anyone enrolled in the June 18 - July 23 session of the free Intro to CSS and HTML Gale Course.
Gale Courses is one of many online resources that can be accessed for free with a South San Francisco Public Library card. Visit us or give us a call at (650) 829-3860 for more details.
Visit our SSFPL LibLab MakerSpace webpage to learn more about available makerspace equipment and making reservations to use our collaboration room that has a 65-inch touch-screen computer, Adobe Creative Suite, and a scanner.
Book a Librarian
Do you have any tricky questions or ongoing research projects? If so, you are welcome to book one-on-one time with one of our adult services librarians. They will be able to assist you with finding helpful resources in the library and online. If you are new to the area, this is also a great way to get a personal tour of the library.
To make a reservation, simply go to http://libcal.ssf.net/appointments/, select a librarian and/or day/time, fill in the appointment details form, and click the "confirm appointment" button.
