Hotel Auto Burglars

On December 17, 2014 at approximately 12:48 am, two window smash vehicle burglaries occurred at the Grosvenor Hotel. Surveillance video revealed the suspects were waiting inside their vehicle, which was backed into a parking stall in the same parking lot.

The suspects eventually exited their vehicle and separately looked through all the other vehicles in the lot with a flashlight. They reconvened in their vehicle and parked behind the victim's vehicle while they burglarized it. Once they were finished, they immediately parked behind the second victim's vehicle, which they also burglarized.

Both suspects appeared to be black male adults wearing light colored hooded sweatshirts, light colored pants, light colored shoes, and gloves. The suspect vehicle was a black Mercedes (black paper plates with light colored lettering), possibly a mid-late 2000's CLK63 model.

If you recognize any of the suspects, please contact the South San Francisco Police Department at (650) 877-8900 or our Tip Line at (650) 952-2244, or via e-mail and ask to speak to an officer regarding Case # 14-7856 or 14-7857.
