Mission
Our mission is to promote the beautification of South San Francisco in an effort to make the City a more pleasant and desirable community in which to live.

Goals

  • Promote the planting of trees, shrubs, and flowers in public and private areas
  • Promote restoration and maintenance of the community's natural resources, parks, and wetlands

Upcoming Events
The Beautification Committee sponors three events during the year. The events are Arbor Day (early Spring), Beautification Awards (May), and Bay Front Clean-up (Fall). Further information will be added once dates and locations are confirmed.

Arbor Day
Come and join us for our annual Arbor Day celebration. This years' event takes place at Alta Loma Park on April 26th beginning at 9:00 am. The days events include the reading of the Arbor Day Proclamation, planting of the Arbor Day Tree, and a general clean-up of he area. Please click on the attached link to view the flyer and map.
