SamTrans

To help streamline and improve SamTrans bus service and make it more effective, Routes 390 and 391 will be replaced by Route ECR effective Aug. 12, 2013. Also, some route numbers will be changed for service that operates only on school days.

School-Day Only Service
~Route 36 will be eliminated; however, Route 35 will be adjusted to accommodate the service originally provided by Route 36. ~Eight new routes will be created from trips that exist under other current local routes. For example, new Route 79 will be comprised of seven school-day only trips formerly operated by Route 271.

~Routes that only operated on school days but had a number of deviations (different routing) will be separated and receive their own number. For instance, Route 83 will be broken into six individual routes (80, 82, 83, 84, 88, 89).

Information on which routes serve schools throughout the county is available at www.samtrans.com/schools. We've also included the new route chart below.
