2015 Election

Election Day - Tuesday, November 3, 2015 - is almost upon us!  Below is municipal election-related information selected for its relevance to questions received.



Vote by Mail Ballots:  Vote by Mail Ballots (formerly titled Absentee Ballots) may be deposited in the locked ballot box in the Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 400 Grand Ave, SSF, during business hours and up until 5:00 p.m. on Election Day.  On Election Day, Vote By Mail ballots may also be turned in to a Poll Worker at any precinct, including City Hall, until 8:00 p.m. 

Voter Registration Status:  Residents may check their voter registration status at www.shapethefuture.org.  The Clerk’s Office is also available to help with this task and to explain the Provisional Voting process as needed.

SSF Polling Places: A list of Polling Places located in South San Francisco is attached.

San Mateo County Election Results: The San Mateo County Elections Office will start posting local results at www.shapethefuture.org  after 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.  Live Election Coverage of San Mateo County Races and Measures will take place from 8:00p.m. to Midnight on Peninsula Television, Comcast: Channel 26, Astound: Channel 27, AT&T U-verse: Channel 99 or Streaming Live at www.pentv.tv  and https://www.facebook.com/pentv26.
