South San Francisco Regional Gap Closure Project

Project will install bike lanes and sharrows throughout the City.

Grand Avenue/Magnolia Avenue Traffic Signal Project

Project will install a new traffic signal at the intersection to improve safety for pedestrians. 

Los Cerritos School/West Orange Avenue Traffic Calming Project

Project will install traffic calming improvements along West Orange Avenue in front of Los Cerritos School and include educational components on pedestrian/bicycle safety for school children. 

Completed Pedestrian/Bicycle Projects

Pedestrian Improvements at W. Orange and Miller Avenue

Project will install pedestrian flashing beacons at crosswalks located at the intersections of Orange Avenue/Tennis Drive and Miller Avenue/Cypress Avenue. -
Completed May 2012

Pedestrian Crossing Improvement at El Camino High School/BART Driveways

Project will include design and construction of pedestrian improvements across Mission Road at the El Camino High School/BART driveways.
Completed August 2014

Westborough Signal Coordination Project

Project will coordinate signals along Westborough Blvd. from Junipero Serra Blvd. to Skyline Blvd. in order to improve traffic flow and improve safety for bicyclists and pedestrians. -
Completed October 2012 

SSF Sharrow & Striping Program

Project will install sharrows and bike lanes throughout the City of South San Francisco. - Completed 2014
