On June 10, 2011 at approximately 9:15 am, a residential burglary occured at the 100 block of Ida Drive in the City of South San Francisco.
Two Hispanic male suspects posing as "Water Works" employees and informed the elderly resident there may be problems with the residence's water lines. One of the suspects distracted the resident by walking throughout the first story of the residence "inspecting" their water lines as the second suspect proceeded upstairs and stole approximately $2,135.00 worth of jewelry from a room. The second suspect was eventually startled by another elderly resident as he exited the room. Both suspects fled the residence when they were asked to provide identification.
Suspect #1: Hispanic male in his 40's, approximately 6' tall, 200 lbs., wearing a white shirt underneath a green jacket.
Suspect #2: Hispanic male in his 40's, approximately 6 ' tall, and heavy set.
