Centennial Cascade

D - Centennial Cascade_thumb_thumb.JPG A dramatic sculpture with the mesmerizing pattern of cylindrical shapes and the alluring sound of water trickling through, it reminds the viewer of the regenerative character of nature. Capturing the 21st century spirit of repurpose and renewal, it was made from window grilles removed from the South San Francisco Main Library. Designed and constructed by staff from the South San Francisco Parks and Public Works Departments in honor of the City’s 100th birthday.
